Is this on par with Morrison's other work /co/?

No, simply for the fact that the Green Lantern was Kyle and Flash was Wally
>>
Yes its bursting with ideas. Best crossover event ever and one of my very favorite comics I own.

The best Lantern and Flash.

>>77371864
It's pretty good, and alludes to a lot of his future work.

>Grant Morrison is comic's high shaman
Get the fuck out.

You can't really judge the whole thing as a Morrison work because it comprises so many titles.

The main concept is amazing and is still my favorite comics crossover of all time. Most of the tie-ins were fantastic JUST for how they fleshed out the world.

My only complaint is that there isn't more of it. And the concept of information as currency doesn't really make sense, information about what? What, do you sell someone your vital stats or your childhood memories or something?

>do you sell someone your vital stats or your childhood memories or something?
I'm sure someone, somewhere would buy your complete medical history.
I'm sure there are even things they can do with it.

Wow, time to shave that neck, grandpa.

So you think Final Crisis is his best work? Because that's literally the only one where he uses Hal/Barry
>>
>on par with Morrison's other work

You say that as though Morrison's work is consistent. His stuff is all over the place in terms of quality. Lots of good and some really bad bad.

Dude it was 1999

Pretty good. With minor modifications it's a prologue and epilogue to All Star Superman.

Makes sense as it was right before Superman 2000 would have begun.

Superman 1,000,000 was a bit of a headscratcher character-wise as you really have to question the practicality of a galactic defender who is even more dependent on the (admitedly Superman-enhanced) Sun than Clark was.

Depowered, yeah, but lacking solar energy never outright killed Clark.

Haha, what the fuck? How could anyone put down those words seriously without wanting to blow their brains out?
>>
>>77371864
In hindsight it was probably a bad idea to read this right as I started getting into comics, I hated it.

but that's not information as a currency, that's information as a commodity

information becomes a currency when it becomes the norm to trade information for other information or goods and services

e.g if Google was exchanging your information for a new 100km wide server in California or something then it would be information as a currency, but as soon as you introduce the idea of money as a mediator then it ceases to be a currency and becomes a commodity

I think it was meant to be more analogous to bitcoincs, which are essentially just 0s and 1s with arbitrary value assigned to them and which can purchase other things

>>77382867
>>Doesn't include Young Heroes in Love One Million

That's because Young Heroes in Love is similar to Claremont's S7 and John Byrne's Lab Rats in that they had some kind of creator-owned deal.
