I found a way to sort of warp my throat to do some more of the tonal traits of Alex's voice, closing the gap a little more. Previously the type of my voice was a little too different, but now it's slightly better. Now I just need to copy how he holds and uses his mouth a bit better to complete the sound as best I can.

Yeah. I can do the mannerisms all I want, but it's still not Alex's voice. The problem is that it's just not enough of a character voice. It's 99% Alex's speaking voice. If it was further out there I could do it better. Doing an impression of some random guy is significantly harder than doing an impression of a unique character voice.

You know, I wonder if the decision to leave Darlene intact wasn't inspired partly by the backlash they got for killing Giffany.
I can see the writers scripting Darlene getting squashed by the statue, and someone bringing up what happened the last time they offed a monster girl love interest. Maybe they tried to compromise on her, and that's why we got such an unsatisfying conclusion.
Giffany was boring and I'm glad she's gone, never to return again.

Pacifica getting character development and then never doing anything again other than saying literally one thing almost half a season later. Why hasn't she been clandestinely helping the twins with her access to wealth and influence? Why didn't they have her dad become one of Bill's henchmen like Gideon, and then have her rebel and join up with Dipper and Wendy? What even was with that tapestry in the Northwest manor if the family didn't end up having anything to do with Bill?
I don't know why shows these days seem to all do this. They usually have two main characters. They add a cast of side characters who would all be very interesting to see more often. And then they bench most of them and use a small handful in a rotation. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer larger group main casts because it allows for more voices and perspectives in each adventure. Sure, GF is a bit better than some since they at least use Soos, Wendy, and the grunkles pretty well, but don't get our hopes up for a character being important and then drop them.

When you put it like that, I can't help but feel like there was potential for the government agency Powers came from to be more involved in the plot.
I get that Hirsch wasn't looking to tell a story where human authorities were the major antagonists in a fantastical setting. And that's a concept that's been done to death anyway. But I wouldn't have minded the occasional reminder that they're still in the background, monitoring that piece of Oregon even if they lost their info on the Pines family.
Come to think of it, all that detection equipment they had really ought to be reacting to Weirdmageddon.

This is how I end the series.
The crew come to the conclusion that Bill is simply too powerful and cannot be defeated under any circumstances. They decide to shift their strategy and attempt to convince Bill that he should use his power for the benefit of people in this dimension. It works by way of whatever plot device you want, I don't care.
Bill becomes a member of the family so to speak, and using his power lets Dipper and Mabel travel between Piedmont and Gravity Falls whenever they want for how ever long they want.
Cue happy music and ending montage of "family photographs"
