Given that it's Rememberance Sunday, I decided it'd be a good idea to post Blazing Combat, the short-lived yet completely amazing anti-war comic.
I'll also be posting it on the 11th, what with that being the internationally recognised day of remembrance.
Fair warning, this is going to be a long one - each issue was 68 pages, and there were four issues in all.
I read this a few years ago and it was pretty great.
Are there are any pro-war comics, though?

Not many these days; check out Liberality For All if you want a good laugh.

This is legit probably the GOAT anthology comic and everyone on /co/ should read it.
Reading. Many thanks OP.
This was actually better than EC Comics' war anthologies. Archie Goodwin is probably the most underrated writer in comics history.
>not reading this
I just realised: I should post this on Flag Day as well. I mean, fair's fair, right?
Thanks OP

I'll probably skip the ads in future; they're nice and all, but I like keeping things in one thread.
Anons in the other thread have suggested that I keep the ads; I'll take it under consideration.

Thanks a lot. And thanks for storytiming.

Still frazetta doing the covers ?
Also, many thanks OP. You can drop the ads IMO.

That fucking baby. You can't just draw Vita Corleone as a baby and expect me to respond appropriately.

I just don't want the ads to distract from the message of the comics.

Fuck the ads, man. They're nothing but a pain in the ass. Cheers for dumping, this is good shit.
So, I thinking skip the ads, but keep them for bumping when I'm done with the actual comics.
bum
bumping for others.
Thanks, OP.
Huge thanks to everyone who's kept this thread bumped - you're all great.
Turns out I need to be somewhere for the next few hours, so the next storytime will be a while yet.
