I like Yoyotoki more, but I also enjoyed Eddie way more than I expected.
I liked it. Are they only going to choose one pilot though? It feels weird that they're putting them up along with the live-action pilots.

I remember seeing something called Hardboiled Eggheads. It was a Dexter's Lab clone with worse animation that Johnny Test. Don't think any were made beyond the pilot.

I watched this in a stream with other people, and someone actually commented on how bad he thought Eddie's animation looked. We're living at a time where people don't understand what traditional animation looks like (albeit Eddie was done on 3s mostly), and thinks software tweening being rendered at 30fps from flash or toonboom is "good" animation. They literally cannot understand the level of skill and difficulty required in drawing each frame by hand, versus Hanna-Barbera style rig and morph animation that is being used in every TV cartoon these days.
I would be terribly disappointed, but not surprised if something like Everstar wins out over Eddie.

Honestly, I think the feral girl might be Eddie's sister. Not his younger sister, but maybe an older sister he doesn't know about. Like, what if his grandfather had a lover in the Realms Eternal and the girl is a descendant that grew up there instead. I think it would be trite for them to add her as a potential love interest. But still, the idea of her being a part of Heather's psyche isn't a bad idea.
The animation somehow makes me think of old pc games cinematics.

Honestly Yotokoi was the funniest to me.
I liked Everstar if we're being honest. But I went into it blind so I couldn't be as disappointed as everyone else.
I liked all the pilots I watched but I didn't feel like giving a mouse a chance when it already had that cookie. Also didn't care about Numberlys at all.
Eddie was the best of the story-driven shows while Yoyotoki is the most interesting of the comedy shows. But I'm betting Everstar and Mouse are gonna get the picks up.

Apparently. I've heard it reviewed as if people were looking forward to seeing it and then being let down. I was expecting so much disappointment that it circled right back around to being serviceable enough to work as a pilot of a show I'd watch regularly.
