Infinity War is a two partner, each likely about two and a half hours long. That's a lot more room to breathe than one film with a massive cast and a story like Civil War. Condensing this to one film is a mistake and I'd be surprised if that doesn't change soon. This needs to be a two part thing as well, but I'm not sure how stringent Marvel is with their time table for all the other films because that would force a shuffle.
