First off when I realized that it was UG that was magically Rose I fucking turned the channel for at least a few seconds because for anyone who has seen a few shows at least would know that that shit would NOT be okay and it was completely cringey to me. Then the not canon and the shipping jokes were funny, and so was the heads in space along with the reaction. But after that the whole thing took a nosedive into crap and couldn't find its way out. Except for the Pizza guy getting eaten and the RIP at the end. Anyways, it was just as mediocre as I expected, and I was probably as glad as Garnet was that it was over.

A fantastic episode. Both Uncle Grandpa and Steven Universe shined in this episode. They brought to the table what they're both great at and had a lot of fun for the episode. It was just as fun catching up to Steven Universe and really getting into the show just so I could take in the show and understand everything that was to happen with the show on its own and of course for the crossover. I hope others got a chance to check out and appreciate Uncle Grandpa as well. If you loved the out of the box thinking and clever visual gags, I would check the episodes 'Shorts' and 'Moustache Cream' out. Those are two episodes that are exceptional in this regard and are my favorite episodes.
For 11 minutes, it was great but I'm a little sad they didn't make it a 22 minute special and give equal bearing to both shows in that format. They still did it, but it was great for how it was all tied togetherwith that 'plothole' and how they used the Uncle Grandpa bumper sequence perfectly with itAnother thing I wish they did was make a goof on the intro. That would have epitomized it. Maybe next time.
The greatest crossover I've ever seen was in the 90s with COPS and The X-Files. They billed it as a COPS episode and called it 'The X-COPS'. The intro is really something because it makes you think an episode of The X-Files is coming onthen the COPS intro plays, but you might be surprised at who shows up in the intro.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3ZdZ6NQ95I COPS was traditionally a 30 minute format show but they stretched the bounds for it in a 1 hr crossover special and utilized the COPS cameramen with The X-Files writing. It keeps switching to both throughout the episode. I was hoping for more of that with Say Uncle but for the time allotted they came up with some great stuff and very clever jokes. I hope this opens the door for more meetings between them and other crossovers in the future.

Well, yeah. tumblr and the culture it permeates is as egotistical and narcissistic as it gets.Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING somehow reflects back to or should pander to them. Any less is an insult and a hate crime of the highest degree.
