The conquistadors had no particular qualms about raping the natives or fathering bastard children, but they definitely weren't attempting to do what you describe.
Basically in the new word you have 3 types of Spaniards

Aztec ruins really only existed in one place and that's Tenochtitlan which was razed to the ground and built over with the creation of Mexico City. Other cities in the Aztec "Empire" belonged to other tribes who were cultural relatives of the Aztecs. Recent excavations (since the construction of the Mexico City Subway system) show signs of some sacrifices but hardly anything that would be construed as daily.
