When I first saw this show from afar the first thing going through my mind was

Then I watched a few episode
If I could go back in time and punch my past self in the dick, I would have done it.
The show is great, well written, well animated and the characters are really good (Steven can be annoying at times but always in an endearing way).
The gems steal all the show they are amazing.
I prefer the actual designs, more cartoonish.
