Don't get me wrong, I approve of this thread whole-heartedly because these characters are adorable as hell, but are the even really... male? Except for Frisk, who I guess is a cute lil shota.

Several characters are definitely directly referred to as male. The skeletons, Asgore, Asriel, and Mettaton come to mind. The skeletons alone could carry threads.
Frisk is supposed to be ambiguous. Whatever the player sees them as. Plenty of people saw them as male.
So long as it's not an explicitly female character like Undyne I don't think it's an issue.

Basically. Ambiguous characters are viewed as anything goes really, but tend to be posted on /cm/ more than /c/ unless they're visibly far along the feminine axis or explicitly stated as female by the artist.

I've had faves that have murdered way more. Asgore had a good reason at least since the monster population was rooting for him to do it, and he did feel regret over it afterwards.

Yeah, but unlike most other games, this one took a really hard line against killing. The entire message was that you shouldn't kill just because you can, or because you think it's for a greater cause. Killing even a single enemy locks you out of the best/canon ending.
I know he had his reasons, and I know he dies in any ending besides the true pacifist one, but I can't help but feel like he got off pretty light in the best ending (pretty much only Toriel's openly mad at him). Not only has he killed multiple times - he's killed children, specifically.
Although I guess it does make the moment where you spare him that much more powerful
It's nice to live in an age where small weird little games like this will blow up on an art based site (tumblr) that attracts people with the fun fan art. I doubt it would have gotten any love if wasn't for fandoms like us. (obviously) I just bought the game (talking to Goat Mom on my cell phone right now) because of all the cute skeleton bros art. I would love to draw some art myself once I get further into the game.
But yeah. Good job everyone.

You get to see a side of a character that you don't usually get to see in a pacifist run. I'll be honest, I didn't care much for Sans during the pacifist run. But seeing him lose his chill and smacktalking you during the genocide run was great and gave a lot of insight to his character.
I don't mind being a villain and a dirty brother killer if it means I get to see some of my faves at their best. Plus the boss battles are pretty fun.

/cm/, I've got a tiny request. There's a particular post-neutral ending MTT I'm looking for, where he's got a double-breasted jacket (under a king's cape) and peaked cap (under a tiara) as his emperor's clothes. I really loved that design, but looking for it isn't yielding too many results.

How do you organize your Undertale folders fellow anons? Mine is getting too chaotic to hunt through for things, but sorting by character won't do the trick since it's to mixed between cute, lewd, funny, feels, and memeing.

Right now I just dump everything into one folder. One day I may organize it. Maybe.

I organize my fan art folders by character groups that are often associated or drawn together. For example, anything involving Sans, Papyrus, Gaster, or any combination of the three will go into one folder. I don't prioritize main characters when organizing this way, so a cute picture of Frisk and Mettaton will go in the Mettaton folder rather than the Frisk one.
It's an odd system, but I know exactly where everything is without creating a big labyrinth of folders that's no fun to browse.
Funny or non-art stuff is in an entirely separate folder away from my art libraries.
