Meh I think this gin is better but it's okay with orange juice - it freaks my gf out
>>
>>7071166
I think it's as good as Tanqueray, and have no problem ordering it in public. /ck/, though in general, has exhibited a knee-jerk snobbishness toward it that I can't understand other than to chalk it up to anti-corporatism of non USA gin drinkers who maintain loyalty to a local favorite.

Like this confused or trolling (or intoxicated) anon >>7071170 I prefer the brown spirits.

But for a summer cooler, Sapphire and tonic is fine. Also adequate for a Martini with a breath of vermouth. FillARocksGlassWithIce/10.

Smells better than it tastes.

It tastes like fucking pine-sol, it's disgusting.
There's nothing snobbish about possessing a basic sense of taste.

Hello there

>>7071319
This is exactly as predicted.

BTI gives it 92/100. It is a tier 2 spirit indicating high expert reviews. It's floral and berry/spice combination flavor is intentional, because it is a fine gin. I remain without adequate explanation other than Bacardi corp hater.

The most bone-dry of all the gin's I've tasted. Good for highballs, gin slings, sours, and tiki drinks that call for gin, but I prefer beefeater 24 or booth's for a martini.

I hate bacardi, but it's because they've flooded the market with crappy rum. Sapphire is fine though.
