I am learning Korean and while it certainly does not sound nearly as nice to my ears as japanese, it mostly just sounds bad because often times koreans are a little on the loud side while they have, let's just say a 'weak organ'. Those two are just a horrible combination. Korean can sound flat out goofy, ridiculous even, but it can also be cutesy. All depends on the speaker.
