When we wanted baked goods and mom didn't feel like making them we went to a bakery. I used to love love love prepackaged snack cakes. I ate several a day. I started getting chubby so I stopped. About 4 months later I tried one and it was terrible, like fucking godawful. I threw half of it away. The sugar makes you addicted, but taste and texture wise they're awful once you get out of the habit. The only way to like them is to grow up on them.

I remember liking them when I was a kid, but the fact of the matter is theyre only palatable to people who can suck down any ammount of sugar and still reach for more. those with an adult palet that appreciate flavors other than just sugar and more sugar will not enjoy them. the final nail in the coffin is that all of their textures are pretty awful, which at least there are some candies that are sugary that still have good texture. I guess with that in mind the vote for least shit snack cake is the peanut butter and chocolate wafer filled ones.
Sometimes I get them because i'm like "Whoa, 1.83 a pack!" but then I eat an entire pack in a day, they don't taste very good and I feel sick and don't do it again for a year and a half.
