Nope, in the base you have to put just enough of it. It gives the top part a more smooth texture.
You should try it with any pizza just dripple some cream on top
I did it like this
2 min baking on the bottom.
5 min on the middle with only top heat.
Put the cream and some cheese
30 seconds in the oven
put the jam
