Today, I bought 4 2-litre bottles of carbonated water from Lidl thinking it was still water. It tastes like dog piss. Who the fuck drinks this shit?
So, I had an idea. Carbon dioxide is responsible - so if I could mask the flavour, I could actually avoid pouring this stuff down the drain.
Long story short, I had a blender, a watermelon, and 3 tablespoons of sugar lying around, as well as enough money lying around to run a blender on high power for two straight minutes.
The end result was actually pretty good. Like, really good. Shit. The flavour isn't overpowering, it's not too sweet, and it tastes like, well, fresh watermelon. My only gripe is that it tastes a little flat, but I suppose I could remedy this by blending the melon and adding the water later.
What are your favourite uses for that god awful carbonated water shit?

that's because you have shit taste. plain soda water is refreshing AF after exercise, in the morning after a night of drinking, or just anytime you don't want flat water.
if you have to add a bunch of sweetener to straight soda water to make it taste acceptable to you, then you obviously have the palette of a toddler and need to just an hero already.
