Why isn't there a lunch box with a practical utensil compartment?

Why isn't there a lunch box with a practical utensil compartment? All of the ones Ive looked at force you to put your fork/spoon inside with your food or carry them seperately.

No one needs to carry that many utensils unless they are mexican.

Good point. I guess I just wasn't thinking when I gave my very serious suggestion.

The fuck? Is this some sort of stereotype I've never seen? Are Mexicans walking around with spoons and forks in every pocket?

They need all the forks to feed their humongous family while crossing the border

The Stanley food thermos has a spoon that folds and goes underneath the lid (which doubles as a bowl or cup).

I currently carry pic related. I'm not too crazy about the handles on the cooler, and the divider makes it harder to Tetris your food into there. But the place to snap your thermos on top makes up for it, and I like that it's a set. 8/10

you can buy just the lunch box for like $25 at gaymart. it's the thermos that makes it expensive.

My insulated lunch bag has a zipper pocket in the front for the napkin or utensils. I suppose a napkin could get cold sweat on it, but what's the big point of keeping your utensils separated?? Maybe you should stop the "tin container" kind of bento or indian lunchbox. They're outdated and don't keep food at a proper safe temperature. Switch to a container you can put other containers in, instead.

Thermos is worth it though. If you work outdoors, study at a university with a big campus, travel on business, etc., having ice water or hot food whenever you want it is priceless. You can also store boiling water in it and use that to pour over instant noodles or those easy mac cups.

Yea, cause the vacuum thermoses are quite expensive, but WORTH every penny. A vacuum insulation, esp a glass lined one, will keep cold or hot items for 12 hours at nearly the same temperature. For some dude out in his truck for hours, he's got two coffee breaks in there, or soup for that bitter cold oil field dinner break. Glass of course has no memory of flavors, so your lemonade doesn't taste like your clam chowder the next day.
