Looking to buy my first peppercorn grinder, what should I know?
And feel free to post your own grinder, I think it would be interesting to see what /ck/ uses.

Thanks

You can adjust your grind size with any half way decent grinder.

I bought a cheap ass pepper grinder at Target around 15 years ago for something like $4. It still works great.

There is literally no reason to buy some fancy ass expensive mill to grind peppercorns.

Who said I was going to blow $50?
I'm just looking for info so I can be a knowledgeable shopper and purchase what best fits my needs.

>$50 is a lot of money to spend on something you're going to use multiple times a day and that could last the rest of your life if you take care of it

What kind of garbage do you spend your money on?

I bought a $12 pepper mill back in 1988 which I still use. I've been lusting after a Penzey's Spices pepper mill (see photo) https://www.penzeys.com/online-catalog/mills-and-shakers/c-24/p-1601/pd-s

I love fresh pepper. I don't know why I haven't upgraded my ancient pepper mill in all these years.

Anon is buying that over priced shit in the store that has the disposable grinder. In the end it's cheaper to buy the $50 grinder. Even better if you find one for half that.

Once I discovered that there is more to pepper than those shitty shakers I never wanted to use them again. Fresh cracked or gtfo
