Grechka kasha (buckwheat porridge)
I usually pot flakes with vinegar and nuts

Lmao, you dumbass. You literally just translated "buckwheat porridge" into Russian word for word then transliterated it into English. It doesn't work that way.

No, that's the actual phrase for it, you faggot.
Or at least it is where I am from (Armenia). We call it just kasha or grechka kasha. I only speak as much Russian as I have heard, never taught formally.
Grits

The word "kasha" itself refers to buckwheat porridge. The word "grechka" is redundant. Even in Russian it doesn't make sense, the correct term is grechevaya kasha.

That's good to know my friend. I eat a lot of what they call mannaya kasha as well, so I have always figured it was just the word for porridges.

Kasha refers to porridge in general you fucking clown. "Kasha" only means buckwheat porridge specifically outside of Russie

I know, you retard. What fucking language are we speaking right now? Right, English. And in English "kasha" means buckwheat porridge. I even specifically mentioned the Russian term for buckwheat porridge, implying I know that "kasha" doesn't mean buckwheat porridge in Russian.
Congratulations, you're a retard.
