Something about the sauce. It's thicker and richer, less dirty tasting than Heinz.

The answer appears to be by not cooking the beans on the hob. Microwaving beans is always shit and results in really runny juice like that.

I'm from America and this is always seen as the "traditional English Breakfast", is it accurate? I feel like thats how everyone sees the "American Breakfast" of eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon
>>

no, any single item from that plate would be enough for me in the morning.

>>
>>7673788
The bacon is wrong, that's yank "bacon" and not actual bacon.

It is missing the black pudding and the hashbrowns. Finally one of those slices of toast should have been fried instead of toasted.

Overall not bad but not the traditional one. I would certainly eat it.

Aside from the wrong bacon, jam and lack of black pudding that other anons have mentioned, the heat on the skillet was way too high. The underside of the eggs are burned, and the sausages are blackened on 2 sides but look barely cooked in the center. I'd eat it, but I probably wouldn't order it again.

Also, it looks like someone jizzed in the tea.

Can't say that I've seen either. But I've seen a lot of British Comedy: Red Dwarf, Monty Python, Peter Sellers movies, John Cleese....it's about as subtle as being hit by a dump truck. I'm not saying that American comedy is any better, mind you. Just that I don't find British to be subtle in the slightest.

I'm American, and I prefer British humor any day over American. Subtle is the wrong word. It's more....sarcastic, contains more satire, doesn't rely on poop and fart jokes, it's more culturally based, and has no fear of making fun of themselves no matter how debased. One of the few American comedians who regularly work with Brit comedians is Rich Fulcher. Watch some of his work, he bridges the gap between the two very well.
I grew up on Brit comedy (yep, even growing up in Texas, thank god for PBS), and Monty Python was my crack, as was Peter Cook, Spike Milligan, The Young Ones, and the list goes on.....

One person who is supposedly a comedian and is on fucking every panel show who I can't fucking stand is Katherine Ryan. She is the most unfunny bitch ever. But, she's really Canadian. Fuck, I can't stand her.

Actually they are not and they never were.

Perhaps your time might be better invested in looking at her other recipes rather than 'surf food'.

yes. i also realise that cherry picking which recipes found in traditional british texts are 'traditional' and which aren't based on whether or not you like the stereotypes that form around them is misguided and revisionist.

>Perhaps your time might be better invested in looking at her other recipes

how do you know i haven't? i have, so i know that jugged hare and brawn pease pudding are also traditional british dishes that not a lot of people acknowledge these days. they're still traditional.

So when did you arrive in the UK Akmed?
>>

These sorts of posts tell me that the American diet is so fundamentally awful that the mere sight of anything containing fibre causes pain.

This explains a lot about your obesity issues and medical problems.

Even as a Southerner, I can go with a chip butty, I prefer mine swamped with vinegar.

Who the hell has their chip butties in a fuckin english muffin? White bread or bust to be honest.

If only Britain had never been conquered by that French bastard and didn't have to live with an inferiority complex for hundreds of years.

Your headstone will just read "Fucknuts".
Because your posts are so horribly juvenile and really leads to the fact you'll have some kind of deranged ending that will end up in the annual Darwin Awards.

Yank here, what do you brits use HP sauce for, found some locally and used it with my steak found it to be quite good, what else should I try it with

That's obviously a fake tweet you numbskull. Also your brisket tastes likes smoked leather and you have the worst Mexicans.

I like it with sausages and on a bacon butty

Any fellow bongs switch out the toast for potato waffles? Cheese is optional but I like a little bit thrown on there.

It's kind of strange how the worst english food has the biggest memes. Though it is a little hard to define these days, A lot of english food has taken a lot of international influence, and if we categorise english food as recipes that must only use ingredients that are sourced in the uk, and have not been imported, and only using native ingredients (vetoing a vast array of herbs and spices) things might get a little more interesting.

But i'd just like to say,

God i hate fryups, my digestive tract is too sensitive for that clusterfuck of a meal.

Heinz US has 5.3g of sugar per 100g
Heinz UK has 4.7g of sugar per 100g

Face it, American food contains more sugar
>>
>>7685469
Who's this pug?
>>
>>7685603
The UK version is way too sweet already. Branston has a bit more depth and i'm curious if there are any other alternatives worth trying.
>>
>>7685609
I'll admit that Heinz is a little too sweet, they could cut the sugar content by about 10-15% it would be much better.
>>

That's a glorious full Britbong m8

I can assure you everything you've seen so far is both real and delicious.

Why would I even want to eat this, it tastes like crap together. I'd rather just eat toast as toast and the beans as beans
>>
>>7682807
The stuff you quoted was produced between 30-50 years ago.
>>
>>7686030

how you think beans and toast 'clash' i do not know. but obviously you don't have to eat it, it is not a patriotic imperative.
>>
>>7683400
He's talking about real ale. Ale is supposed to be slightly warm, not ice cold like lager. Flavour is the key. Americans can only stomach cold beverages to disguise the fact that they are drinking literal piss water.
>>
>traditional britbong cuisine
>toast sandwich
>>
>>7678603
>>yeast scrapings, aka branston pickle
That'd be 'yeast extract', and be marmite. Branston Pickle is pickled vegetables in sauce.

And Bovril was invented so poor people wouldn't starve to death, and could get protein. It's basically beef tea.

don't kid yourself both are just full of rednecks in pickup trucks wearing wranglers and mexicans

the bigger and louder your truck is the more of a man you are
>>
>>7686688

Yeah, I was just considering our breed of redneck to be a different thing from the hillbillies.

I know what you mean about the trucks though. The bigger the better. When I went to college (Texas A&M) I used to refer to them as "Aggie Cadillacs"--ideally, a 4-door, 4x4 1 ton dually, diesel, with a lift kit. The lifts were often done so poorly that the owner had to disconnect the front driveshaft which defeats the point of having a 4x4 in the first place. I always got such a chuckle out of seeing that. Then again, the closest that most of these got to "off roading" was encountering a puddle in the parking lot.
