Which of these dipping sauces would you have with fries?

Left to right: sweet and sour, honey mustard, ketchup, mayo.
>>
>>7642009
50:50 ketchup and mayo (not mixed and poured directly onto the chips) with a generous amount of vinegar and a dash of salt.

If I have to play by your rules though, mayo would be fine. No one should ever eat chips without salt and vinegar though.
>>
>>7642009
I'd do the honey mustard and the mayo (separately, of course). I don't eat ketchup unless it's curry ketchup or very spicy ketchup, and I'd never eat sweet and sour with fries.
>>
>>7642009
I would never have just one, I would probably get the right three if they were all available at the same time.
>>
>>7642025
>50:50 ketchup and mayo

I keep reminding myself to try this
>>
None. I don't like those sauces. Vinegar is great with french fries however.
>>
Mix the sweet and sour with the mayo.
>>
>>7642009
2, 3, 1, and I'd kill myself before dipping fries in ketchup
>>
>>7642009
ketchup i guess, they're just shitty fries.
>>
>>7643419
this is the correct answer.
>>
>>7643426
Yeah, but nobody gives a fuck about canadians' opinions.
>>
>>7642025
Do you just use regular vinegar? Do you dip them? Then sprinkle salt on?
>>
I just sprinkles a bunch of Tabasco on fries. Its like eating them with malt vinegar but better.
>>
Ranch. But since you don't have it, mayo.
>>
>>7643433
im flyover bitch
>>
Fries are for fat people so none I guess
>>
>>7643461
Why are they for fat people?
>>
>>7643462
Who needs an extra side for a meal?

Protip: fat people
>>
>>7643487
How do you know it's an extra side? What if it's the only side? Like, when you eat them with fish. Or steak. Or basically anything.
>>
>>7642009
Go mayo or go home

they look like poor fries, but good fries with mayo is underrated.
who else here adds sugar when cooking their fries?
>>
>>7643494
>What if it's the only side? Like, when you eat them with fish. Or steak. Or basically anything.

That constitutes as an extra side
>>
>>7643487
>if you have a snack you're fat
Away from /ck/, you joyless sack of insecurity.
>>
>>7643487
>>7643505
I can't imagine anybody ever using the term "extra side" unless they're too autistic to mix different foods in a meal.
>>
>>7643505
So, to you, a steak is a meal? A piece of fish is a meal? You're weird dude.
>>
best option is a fry sauce, but honey mustard is great too. a buffalo ranch/bleu cheese sauce would probably be great too.
>>
>>7643535
>fry sauce

What
>>
>>7642009
Eat it with Fry sauce (Utah thing) so mix the ketchup and mayo together to make it.
>>
None. I don't dip my fries. All you need is seasoning, and maybe some vinegar drizzled over.

>>
>>7643419
not with those thick and heavy fries like in OP's picture though

it soaks in too much and gets soggy
>>
>>7643634
Oh Christ. I like curry ketchup, but that specific brand is way too sweet.
>>
>>7643628
>i have an unearned superiority complex
>yet i hate myself
>so much
>hold me
>>
Either sweet and sour or honey mustard, mayo if they are spiced fries.
>>
>>7642009
Mix the ketchup and the mayo
>>
>>7643449

jelly?
>>
None. I don't eat fries with sauce. I have a side of fries with my burger, which has ketchup and mustard on it. I also appreciate things like sweet/sour but only in some dishes.
>>
Beef gravy with mushrooms. Diner style is the way to go.
>>
>>7643950
malt vinegar.

balsamic, cider, white, red wine, anything like that isnt right. use plain old malt vinegar, and pour a couple sprinkles all over.
>>
>>7643953

Not really
Fries are incredibly nice

But those aren't "heavy fries" they're fucking chips mate
>>
>>7642025
BritBong here I approve of this. They need to be swirled just right.
>>
1. Nacho Cheese

>>
>>7642009
I'd like a mix of ketchup, sambal oelek, and sweet soy sauce.
>>
I've always wanted to try that "burger sauce" that the British have.
>>
>>7645032
It's called a Marie-Rose sauce.
>>
I'd have them all but there's too much sauce and not enough fries.
>>
>>7642009
Honey mustard and fries is a god send. Whenever i order out I dip em and also save the little packets for fries at home. A++ mate.
>>
>>7642009

mayo. always mayo.
>>
>>7643981
we eat them them with White vinegar up North
>>
I would prefer none but if i had to pick i'd choose ketchup
other acceptable things to dip fries in
>bbq sauce
>buffalo sauce
>ranch dressing
>guacamole
>gravy
>cheese sauce
what the fuck kind of heathen would dip fries in mustard or mayo?
my dislike of honey mustard, however, is a personal preference, as this abomination is a popular condiment(would you believe people dress their salads with fucking honey mustard?)
>>
>>7643953
Is that supposed to be seasoning? Because that's how chips looks if you haven't changed the oil in your fryer in 6 months.
