Goddamnit, I love me some of that bean burritas.
>>7586837
>tfw I ate 10 of those one time in elementary school and they kept piling on
Best day ever.
>>7586837
muhh diikkk. Post more
They have those giant bomb ones at the gas station by me 2 for a dollar. I stocked up because I'm so broke and beans keep me so full. I always pocket a few of their hot sauces by the nachos
I wish they sold refried beans without salt. The premade burritos are perfect, but they're so expensive, and trying to make your own with beans and cheese is just so disgustingly salty, I feel gross after a couple bites.
>>7586950
you need salt to bring out the flavors
even the most thoroughly "well" fried beans will taste bland without salt
and I have no idea what kind of shit cheese you're getting that gives an excessive amount of salt to both itself and a relatively large mass of unsalted homemade refried beans
me gusta
>>7586837
I make my own burritos almost daily.
Bean burritos with rice are the SHIT. I never have time to have one but it's probably for the best since I'd turn into a fat fuck almost immediately
>>7586837
They look fucking disgusting. Not even memeing.
>>7587438
Of course it does, but who cares if it tastes amazing? It's food, not art.
>>7587424
>Taco Bell isn't real Mexican food
>Without illegals you wouldn't have Mexican food like Taco Bell
The wall can't go up soon enough.
Making a bean and cheeser right now
Tasty and cheesey

>>7588591
Next time i will make a quesarito bean and cheeser
>>7586950
Just make your own nigga, it's easy as shit.
Never had one that was too salty
>>7586837
Am I the only one that can't stand Mexican food?
>>7586837
>mexican """"""""""""""""""""""food"""""""""""""""""
I've been making burritos regularly for ages, I just finished eating a pretty delicious one leftover from yesterday that I grilled in my Foreman grill (5 mins):
Tuna
Mayo
English mustard
Sliced black olives
Black pepper
Lemon juice
Mixed all that in a bowl, used it in a load of burritos. Half with chopped onion and sliced bell peppers fried in cayenne, half with baby leaf spinach. They were all great.
My all-time favourite filling is Thai Red Chicken Curry with added fish sauce and extra-hot green chili sauce. Had a nice load of Chicken Balti burritos a few days ago as well.
I'd been thinking of making some spicy bean burritos because cheap and filling, but it never occured to me to add cheese to the filling.
Once again /ck/, you have made me add stuff to my shopping list.
>>7591085
Yes.
tfw you eat 8 el monterry burritos because you want to feel SOMETHING
>>7586921
>smuggling the hotsauce
Nigger that's what it's there for.
I grab one of those square white paper tray things, use it as a plate and roll up to the counter with my steamin' hot microwaved burrito with about 15 sauce packets and some jalapenos from the hotdog station.
If they bitch about the pile of jalapenos I say "so, uh, you want me to go put them back?", they they realize they're making 8 bucks an hour and are just being salty.
>>7592580
also walmart sells them for 99c by the deli
>>7586837
The simplicity of a good bean and cheese burrito is perfection.
Sometimes, it's all you want, and all you ever need.
>>7592589
Ur nails r beautiful, do U have a bf right now?
>>7591118
I did a bit of reading and it turns out I haven't been making burritos at all, just various tortilla wraps.
As I understand it, burritos contain beans, which none of my wraps has. I'm surprised nobody has scolded me for that mistake.
>>7592775
No. I'm not gay.
>>7588508
Wait how does one make a bean and cheese burrito by hand?
Can, can I make the beans in the burrito or do i have to heat the beans separability?
>>7592820
Either way works fine.
>>7592820
I microwave the beans for a minute, heat the tortilla, apply beans and cheese and whatever else, roll, then heat the whole thing on the stove for a bit
Quickest way IMO, a nice burrito in about three minutes
>>7592820
throw a slice of bacon, an onion and a few jalapenos in a crockpot, with dry beans.
cook them until they're done, drain any excess liquid and mash the fuck out of them.
voila you have a big ass pot of burrito filling that freezes well and costs like $3
>>7592871
>A slice of bacon
But y?
>>7592884
YEAH AND SHOULD YOU MINCE THAT ONION WHAT THE FUCK WHO JUST THROWS A WHOLE ONION INTO A POT WITHOUT EVEN PEELING IT
idiot.
>>7592936
>without peeling it.
You obviously peel it first, silly.
>>7586837
