Slice it up. I used a mandolin

Sometimes you cook stuff in bulk if you can freeze it for later. I do that with casseroles a lot. Hamburgers will keep in the freezer so you can make up some to cook immediately, and then have the rest prepared to cook later on if you're shorter on time.

Oh nice. That's the one major hurdle for me cooking, I live alone and just can't bother to give a shit about what I eat to make something sophisticated.

Mince up some garlic.

Do you think we should add bacon to the burger? Or use it as a topping...

bacon has no place on burgers, it always overpowers everything

bacon on the side is acceptable

Die. The bacon is going on top, fag.

Season with salt, pepper, all that good stuff.

I'll go grab some from my lawn now.

So this is where faggots screw up. They add breadcrumbs to their burger and it becomes a grainy mess. Let's fix that by adding some milk to the bread crumbs.

good job embittering the garlic.

you should have used more oil with the onions, and added the garlic only after you turned the heat off.

or, ideally, you'd have cooked the bacon first and put the onion into that.

if you're cooking the burgers well done, adding milk and breadcrumbs (a panade) will prevent the final product from drying out.

this is what we call barely-bait, it's a refined tactic of masterbaiters, where they do things that are seemingly innocuous. "is this bait", we are drawn to ask.
>>
Would this recipe work well for grilled burgers too, chef?
>>
>>7582151

Hey man, this isn't a recipe. It's simply my way of cooking it. You can add whatever you like, but I could definitely do this on a grill.
>>
>>7582119
That's because they're used to it.

There's a few things you've could have done better like pressing down the patties more so they could match the area of the bun instead of leaving a huge surface area with meat. Better for the patty to overflow slightly from where the bread is than to be condensed. Especially if it's just gonna be the same amount of beef/hamburger mix anyway.

Another thing, you say you prefer to cook slowly and had the advantage of no time restraints. but if that was the case Chef Cameron, why did you cook all the patties at the same time? Would have been more favorable cooking them one or even two at a time assuming you could spring for it on the pan and this is once again taking the above advice of stretching the patty surface out more.

You're proud of your flawed methods because that's all you know. That's some real Dunner-Kruger shit my man. There's a fine line between which methods you can call your own (the hamburger mix), which are by the book (using a panade, which is a legit method even though I don't always care for it) and which are just pure retard-fucking-dation (basically everything in the cooking process -- that lack of consistency in patty sizes, precondensing the sizes not knowing the breadcrumbs would have kept the heat from shrinking the patty and arguably -- even this I admit is subjective, not toasting/grilling the buns)

Just because you're okay with your flaws doesn't mean they don't exist.
>>
>>7582207

I cooked 4 at a time, and I made about 9. To make you feel a bit better, I'm 18 and haven't gone to a chefs collage yet. I'm just trying to cook some shit for my brothers, man.

I don't think this is the best thing in the world, either. But hey, I'm glad you pointed it out and appreciate the feedback.

I'm making dinner for the next few days, ill be posting them on here too.
