I do prefer cold salami over cold bologna, though. Unless it's garlic and jalapeƱo bologna, which is the ultimate of the mechanically-reclaimed-meat-based deli offerings.
daaaam those were a treat growing up. My mom grew up dirt poor so fried bologna sandwiches were a staple in her childhood. She hated making them for us as kids because repressed memories of poverty.
