It's not OC.

Crappy white bread with garlic powder? No thanks.
>>7492637
There's no tomato soup or marinara to dip it in
It's usually just a shittier version of whatever it's served along side, and is only there to placate fatties with no taste or inhibition.
carbs + fat is a big no-no

Said no one ever.

I'm sure some tinfoil-hat health whacko has said that.
Missing the cheese
>>7492660
There's no fat in this.
Wtf are you on about?

The yellowy color of the bread heavily implies that it was coated with butter or a butter substitute.

"Buttered toast"

I've never had bad garlic bread.
Even buttered Wonderbread with garlic salt is delicious.

I don't like when it is really crunchy and dry. Wonderbread or other cheap white bread with butter and garlic salt is great though. Especially if you don't flip it over so the one side stays white and soft.

>every customer we must serve little medallions of toasted garlic bread
Honestly the entire staff would eat half of them and by the middle of service we didn't have enough. They were so fucking good. Toasted the bread medallions, melted an insane amount of butter and threw some minced garlic in there until soft, and brushed it over the toast after it came out. It had this perfect texture where it wasn't too soggy and the edges were crispy. My favorite ones were the soggy as fuck salty ones though. god damn.
