Saute chopped onion and mushrooms in bacon fat.
Add some minced garlic and chopped fresh thyme.
Add sprouts, saute to brown them a bit.
Add some chicken stock to deglaze, scrape up all the brown bits, cover and cook until sprouts are tender.
Add salt, pepper, maybe a squeeze of lemon juice.
Plate and crumble some bacon on top, then eat those tasty motherfuckers.

Still hate them when they're made any other way.

Cut in half, toss in olive oil, salt pepper. Oven 400 for 18 min. Literally that's it and it's refeived well
shred, blanch, shock, wash, drain, drip, dry, in that order.
I like dried brussels sprouts/cabbage, combined with chopped-and-dried parsnips, carrots, celery roots and leeks to make włoszczyzna.

I assume you are American yes?
Try putting them in a casserole dish with giant gobs of butter and cheese and top with bread crumbs.
You people usually like vegetables done this way.

How long does red cabbage last?
I cut one up last week, wrapped up half in plastic and stuck it in the fridge
Cut it up today and it smells and almost tastes rubbery
still crisp though
Half them and then blanch them, deep fry them in oil until golden and crispy.
Put green chili peppers with sugar, water and red wine vinegar and resuce until you've got a good consistency for agrodolce.
Toss the fried sprouts in your agrodolce and top with crumbled pancetta.

Blanching is boiling a vegetable very briefly just to cook them.
Google it. Its kinda like al dente vegetables.
Half them
Put them in the oven with some salt and olive oil until they're brown and crispy
