It seems to me that if they get upset when you mess it up it's because you're representing a brand-name that offers that level of specificity and the onus is on you to properly take the order and match it. I won't defend the assholes that scream at baristas over a slightly creamier milk than they expected, but having a specific drink order in itself is nothing to criticize and they're right to complain if your employees didn't make it correctly.
