It would depend on how you brewed coffee, if it is a drip coffee maker who cares, but for a french press or a chemex it would be nice.
I actually have one and I find it fun to use even if it takes a little longer than other methods of grinding.

If you can't afford an electric grinder over $100, hand grinders are definitely worth it. If you can afford a Baratza Encore, it's not worth the effort even though a $100 hand grinder probably gives a more consistent grind than an electric one at the same price
