I made something similar to the picture tonight, and I was totally expecting the worst, but these kipper snacks were actually pretty good. It only smelled vaguely of the ocean, and the taste was really mild, I've probably had stronger canned salmon. It wasn't even salty at all. Why aren't these more popular?

I think I'm going to try sardines next. Then maybe shellfish. This canned shit is really neat.

That's fine. Everybody who can afford it should have at least a month's worth of canned fish at all times. You never know when civilization is going to have a glitch.

Kippers are a great breakfast food, too.
