Has anyone else made chicken fusilli alfredo w/sweet onions and broccoli?
And no wood filler parmesian shit.
Pic related isnt all ingredients. Garlic, salt and tuscan seasoning was left out.
Lyonaise the onion, i used half of this big old sweet onion. Its gunna be caramalized.
Imagine how nasty fresh onion would be haha
Add the oil on top of the onion and get it hot. This is a great time to start the water for the fusilli

>lyonaise the onion
So... onion the onion? "Lyonnaise" means "to cook with onions". Also you spelled it wrong.
If you're going to be a pretentious faggot, at least do it right. Two seconds in Google you lazy twat.
Now continue, I want to see if you cook better than you hipster.
I added the garlic to the onion when it started making some sizzle.
Then i sliced up that chicken breast and got the sausage ready. I decided hot italian sausage would be good.

Lyonnaise means in the style of lyon. Thin sliced and you cut towards the center.
Cut the sausage up, the real kind you get at a butchershop. Tons of sales today, I hadnt been to a real butcher shop in a while
The onion was almost ready. I kept the same oil for the meats to cook in, seems practical. I kept the onion slightly more al dente so it didnt come out totally caramalized.
Sausage went in first. This was about the time the water was boiling so i added the pasta in and a bunch of tuscan seasoning to the water. I dont care if the pasta is very affected by it, the scent is amazing and fills the apartment.
The i checked a piece to make sure it was ready before i added it to the pot
I drained the pasta, put the chicken on and started making the sauce. One part cream, one part halfnhalf, 2 tbsp butter and a few handfuls of cheese. It wasnt enough so half way through i added a little more of everything.
I got all the stuff ready in the pan for the sauce and mixing.
I added the sauce on top once it was done. It definitely needed some salt so i threw some in.
I bet you thought i forgot the broccoli. Never took pics because i used a microwave.
But i added those in and mixed the whole thing up
Its not done yet
I warmed everything up to get the sauce to mix better with the broccoli and get it warm for serving.
It was plated and topped with romano cheese. This stuff tasted amazing. I never saw a recipe like this, so i thought it would be a good experiment. I suggest you try it for yourself. Took about 40min from start to plate.
Me when i was done eatin
