Use corn flakes for the breading. It's delicious
How I personally go about it:
>one egg + milk in one bowl
>flour + salt, garlic, paprika, any spice you feel like putting in there in another bowl
>roll in the dry bowl, then in the one containing liquids, then in the other again
>deep fry
Works well enough for me.

I'll offer some guidance here OP. Fried chicken is a sonuvabitch to make. You're better off just driving through Popeyes. The only reason I make fried chicken anymore is to impress.
