Does /ck/ like trail bologna? Have you even heard of it, or is it just a flyover/midwest thing?
I love slices of it with some cheese on top

out west I have heard of a similar product "summer sausage"

It's pretty similar to summer sausage, but not quite the same

That is great. I especially like some while camping though you can really pack some for hiking without a hard container to keep the crackers in.
Also great with extra sharp white cheddar.
Would try OP's stuff too if I ever saw it here.
Trail bologna is one of my favorite treats. I get some every time I go to Amish country. Some baby swiss, too.

Fucking midwesterners.......
>>7349098
it's not summer sausage

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.......

I took a log of summer sausage cold camping with me (no fire.) Just sliced it and ate it. GOAT camp food.
Wouldn't eat at home. Too much salt and fat. Amazing for /out/ though.

If you eat summer sausage and trail bologna side by side you'll notice a big difference in texture and flavor, but it doesn't really matter because you don't care; you're just being a bitch.

Trail Bologna is an emulsion when it gets stuffed. Summer sausage is a coarse grind with much different spices.

Looks like summer sausage but even shittier.
I am in the midwest and never heard of that term
>>7349121
but summer sausage is a thing that is widely available in the midwest

I could really go for some fucking summer sausage right now. God I love the midwest.
