hey guys i started a thread about cutting boards a while ago because mine split
it turns out that it's too warped to glue back together -- the two sides don't match up
anyway, i bought a new one today
same size as the old one - 12"x18" and 1.75" thick
$28 at the local restaurant supply store.
hardwood from thailand
it seems like a nice heavy board
i also got white plastic one

nice anon, what do you plan on using it for

U there
Since this is a cutting board thread, what size should I get?
15x15x2.5"
20x15x3.5"
20x20x3"
I can't decide. Obviously the 15x15 is a good bit cheaper.

>isn't an end grain cutting board
i had one like that except it was from canadian wood
my fucking loser bf soaked it even though i told him not to ... it warped and eventually split
he replaced it with some bamboo shit from china
it's ok .. but i'm fucking pissed still

bummer dude..
that's basically what happened to my previous one.. someone left it in some kind of liquid and it warped and eventually split.
that being said, i bought it around 2000, so i got quite a bit of use out of it
