It does but it's expensive for what it is. If you're doing it because it looks good that's fine, but you can find stuff that works just as well less than half the price.

looks like the air intake is not very big. a strong fan and small intake results in high airspeeds -> noise.
it looks good, but I would want to hear it running, you will often be standing in front of it. whatever you do - do not buy one that exausts in to your kitchen. all that steam needs to be blown outside your house.

I have a normal one now (not inclined) that is at the correct height but i keep hit it with the head, in my new apartment i cant put it more high so this is the only solution

not that much air but looks relatively quiet. why not.. what is the filter made of? mine are stainless steel held by an aluminium frame. no need to exchange mats etc, just stick them in the dishwasher.
