Hello, I'm a total beginner and I'm trying to do a proper stir fry. Last time you contested my ingredient sizes.
This is the second try. Are they good so far or I'm missing something? It feels hard making things of the same size when they have shape so different. I've tried to uniform thickness, but my dicing skills are still pretty low. Help and criticism appreciated. Please don't mind the Christmas table.

Unless you're cooking over gas or an open flame you might not get your wok hot enough to cook all of that stuff
In a stir fry its not about cutting everything the same size its about cutting things to different sizes based on how fast they cook.
carrots, zucchini, onions, celery all cook at different speeds.
if you cut them all the same they won't cook properly. And having different sizes give food a good texture and appearance

You cut the onion really weirdly.

Ok, you said it before and you were right: it was shit. Probably too many veggies. Also, can you tell me the order of veggies? I would say zucchini->mushrooms->onions, but what I know?
Also: I have a wok right now, but what would happen without an ordinary pan? Would it be that bad or still passable?
I'm fucking disgusted by myself
Boom
