Is it acceptable by Western standards?
>>
I would try this, but the only part I don't like is the frog head sitting there, I don't think westerners would like this
>>
yes, the frog is not alive
the movement is a reaction to the fresh exposed muscle being exposed to acids and sodium

I don't think I'd like the frog's cold, lifeless eyes staring at me as I feast on it's carcass
>>
I'm not really interesting in raw food.
>>

That wouldn't bother me at all. What would bother me is it's still moving around. I prefer my food to be stationary. It's too much like playing with your food. Plus if it kicks a piece of meat off the plate I'd be pissed.

Same reason I am not keen to eat live squid/octopus. Other than the fact that it would be incredibly difficult to eat, I don't think there is any benefit to the flavor at all to have it still alive than to have it immediately after killing. It's just as fresh, and the chef can cut it into manageable chunks instead of making me wrestle with a fucking tentacle demon.

Why are Asians such barbarians? Can't they just eat a normal meal that doesn't include twitching carcasses?
>>
>>7309642
Excuse me? Chinks, Gooks and Nips are barbarians. Chinks more so. Other Asians not so much.
>>
>>7309642
you realize things like this are considered bizarre in japan as well, 99.999999% aren't eating wacky shit like this on a regular basis
>>
>>7308833
no.

not only is it raw, but it's breathing. PETA would have a field day.

i'd report the restaurant for serving raw food and get them shut down.
