What do you think the perfect length for your main chef's knife is, /ck/? I think 9-9.5"/23-24cm is ideal. 8" and 10" knives are fine, but anything more than 10 is excessive and pointless

for me 10" is the perfect size and i use that for almost everything.
i feel weird using anything else but i do use a 5" for trimming raw chicken
