I bought some frozen crayfish tails at the supermarket because lobster is only available live (which is way too expensive for me) and crabs are too expensive to import.

"cook frozen crayfish tail" gives me lobster recipes every time. Is it because I can cook them exactly like lobster tails?

I guess so. They're still crustaceans and have similar morphology.

You just boil them, faggot.

Etouffee, sugartits. With rice or pasta.

changing "crayfish" to "crawfish" will enhance your searches exponentially.

Also take frozen out you sperglord, you'll defrost them first.

Northern coastal dweller here.

What do crawfish taste like? I love all forms of seafood but I have never had one. I imagine them to be briny like a shrimp but salty like an oyster.

They taste like tiny lobsters with a freshwater taste

Intredasting. I cant conceive what freshwater tastes like though. I love lobster and eat a lot of it (it's fairly cheap where im from)

Are they ok frozen? They sell them at my local grocery store, do you just steam and eat?

Pour in a bit of this. You can also find it in powdered form.

This, except northerner here who goes diving for them in lakes in the summer. Get a nice little dip, or butter or something.

This and only this. If you'd gotten them whole and live I'd have told you to boil them, but since you just have the tails then making them into an etouffee is best. That's what we do when we have left over crawfish.
Serve over rice. Never had it with pasta.
