How do you prepare for a buffet?
I assume I'm going out for a meal and do the same thing I'd do for any other meal.
I also avoid looking up what they might have, as being surprised is part of the experience.

Go there don't fill up on rice.
Go for the primo stuff.
Take a respectable amount of time maybe order 2 drinks so stop the guilt of eating into their profits so much.
