This looks horrible /ck/ how can I fix it up its chicken thighs and le please help I need it for tomorrow ;^;
>>7275110
What did you do to them already?
>>7275110
Did you put onions, potatoes, and chicken in the oven?
are you gaybert?
>>7275137
Yeeee what will happen ;^;
>>7275110
What did you do? What did you intend to do tomorrow?
Take each piece, pull the chicken taut over the meat, and put them back skin side up. That way, you'll render more of the pan which will get the skin crispier and baste the vegetables.
>>7275154
Do the dish again im practicing ;^;
>>7275162
Just do this:

Your potatoes should probably be cut a little smaller.
>>7275128
It has a mustard and brown sugar paste with potatoes and onions also seasoned with ground black pepper and white pepper some garlic and salt.
Its an invention I know it sounds retarded.
>>7275173
Yes, but what the fuck were you trying to make? It looks more like a bunch of shit thrown in a pan rather than a dish. Really can't give any advice until you say what you were intending on making.
>>7275160
>pull the chicken taut over the meat
What the fuck does that even mean?
>>7275210
Yeah I know im a disgrace I'll never invent a new tasty food it was supposed to be baked chicken. I'll just make some maccoronis and go to sleep
>>7275238
Not that person you were replying to, but did you follow a recipe?
If you're not that familiar with cooking yet, sometimes just doing something on a whim will be rewarded, other times you get what's in your picture. That's okay, its part of a learning process.
What did you do exactly? Were the potatoes and onions raw? What temperature and how long did you cook this dish?
Also I can't really see whats going on exactly in this picture, is the chicken raw or just looks gross?
You might be able to salvage it if you dump the chicken in a pan and just fry it or something. Same with the veg (if its pre-cooked potato)
why do you think chicken and potatoes need the same time to cook?
>>7275238
Well, it can still be salvaged into something. Keep the chicken. Dry it, fry it until browned, let cool, then pull. Season and let marinade in the fridge.
Take what's in the pan, deglaze, then throw in a blender. Take the blended ingredients, put in a pot with the chicken bones and water, simmer for two to three hours, skim the top, and pour through a strainer.
Then just sautee some mirepoix, dump in the stock, put in the chicken, and once boiling spoon in some dumpling batter.
Chicken and dumplings!
(Dumplings are just beaten eggs, salt, pepper, and enough flour beaten into it that it looks like a quite wet dough)
>>7275251
Its raw still it in the oven right now just hope it does not look worse ;^;
Yeah i have spare chicken so im not following a recipe im just making whatever I think will taste good
>>7275270
Just pan fry the chicken then. Not a big deal.

Update it looks like this now
>>7275270
Oh, it's not cooked? Pan fry the chicken, pan fry the potatoes, put it back as you have it, and then do what you originally planned. Probably won't taste too great, but this is the kind of shit you make and learn a lot from when you're first starting out.
Also fuck off.
>>7275295
Why fuck off can't you see that this guy sucks big dick at cooking
>>7275313
Because it gives me an odd feeling when giving constructive advice on 4chins that makes me feel uncomfortable, hence the defense mechanism.
>>7275173
>>7275238
Sounds alright, man. It just looks bad. Probably tastes good though. Do you want it to look good? If so, that's probably not going to happen. So get some BBQ sauce and heat it for awhile on the stove (since your chicken is already baked), then put that over the top. BBQ will hide the flaws, and still taste good with mustard and brown sugar.
After everything it tasted good it may not look good but its pretty good well I'll try again tomorrow thanks guys also a burnt it a little because it was to juicy
>>7275756
Looks decent, keep trying anon!
>>7275756
sprinkle with paprika to make it look better.
Might not add exactly the right flavor, but it makes it look tasty
>>7275756
White wine and cream.
>>7275881
Shit, forgot to add: tarragon, shit loads of tarragon.
