Trust me. It's like the coziest thing ever. it's not like it's drinking peppers or something. It just has a nice pleasant little tingle to it almost like a citrus tingle, without the citrus. It's a perfect cold weather tea.

Every tea is comfier because rooibos isn't actually tea.
>>
>>7268191
>The leaves are used to make an herbal tea called rooibos or bush tea (especially in Southern Africa) or sometimes redbush tea (especially in Great Britain). The product has been popular in Southern Africa for generations and is now consumed in many countries. It is sometimes spelled rooibosch in accordance with the old Dutch etymology.

>herbal tea
They aren't actually tea, hence the herbal part.
To be tea it needs to have Camellia sinensis
>>
>>7268217
>tea isn't tea
>>
>>7268279
>Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to Asia.[3]
>Herbal tea, or tisane (UK /tJˈzɑːn/), US /tJˈzæn/, is any beverage made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water, and usually does not contain caffeine.[1] These drinks are distinguished from true teas (black, green, white, yellow, oolong, etc., which are prepared from the cured leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis), as well as from decaffeinated tea, in which the caffeine has been removed.

The comfiest tea is Yorkshire tea with milk. Full milk, none of that skim shit.

Fixed that for you. And, yes there is, it's plain rooibos. I think vanilla ruins it. I've never had a tea or tisane that was improved by vanilla.
>>
>>7268788
Yeah, the discussion of tea here is so low I don't know how to join it.

I'd recommend everyone get a really simple green tea with no flavoring and get a feel for what tea itself tastes like, and how it changes with variations to temperature, water volume, steeping time, and re-steepings.
>>
>Not plain black tea brewed from a bag. Milk and sugar optional.

Everyone who isn't British suck at tea.

One of my local tea shops sells hibiscus from teegschwendner. So if you live in Germany you could order from them.
Otherwise Canton Tea Co would probably a good choice, but I didn't buy hibiscus from them yet.

Tea is considered universally as a fusion between water and dried plant matter, mainly because of all the herbal infusions in the market. Saying "rooibos tea" is easier than having to say "herbal tisane rooibos".

When people think of tea they generally think about the actual beverage than the plant itself, especially in the western world.
