Please post your favorite pancake recipe. it is dirt simple, but I am interested in enriching my offsprings tastbuds. my ingredients:
>milk
>egg
whisk
>flour
>salt
>cinamon

I have also experimented with baking powder, but noticed better rising with more whisking.

PRE-FAB SHIT IS NOT AVAILABLE HERE AND I DO NOT WANT TO USE IT!

I am interested in sweet pancake recipes, no need for precise weights, just ingredients.

Try adding 3/4 of a cup of sparkly mineral water.
Works for me
>>
dry
1 c flour
1 T sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
wet
1 egg
1 c buttermilk
2 T melted butter
1/2 t. vanilla extract

This is my go to American style pancake. Barely mix the batter together, some lumps are ok. Tender thick fluffy buttermilk pancakes await.

Stop being a troll please.
Your bait is old and stale.

And this is what you get when you try to flip a pancake with a whisk.

How am I trying to bait? That doesn't look like a pancake to me.

>A crêpe or crepe is a type of very thin pancake, usually made from wheat flour.

It's not a crepe it's just an ineffectual thin pancake. OP needs a more baking powder and more flour if he wants a beefy pancakes.

If your pancake does not have a uniform golden brown coloring it's a shit cake.
>>

it ended as a shit cake sometime.

thanks for the inspiration

I can never get them like that consistently. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I don't know why thick pancakes are so popular. I don't think pancakes are any fun at all unless they're thin and floppy.

I only use flour, water, milk and a dash of salt in mine, determining quantity by eye. They're great.

If I want something more cakey, I make small ones that Australians call pikelets, a usage of the word that would leave the Welsh deeply confused.

This if I actually have all those ingredients.
Otherwise I just use whatever I have on hand, generally consisting of the following:
Overripe (black) red bananas
Old sourcream
Yeasty sludge from old mead
Flour
Sugar
Vanilla
Spices

Makes bomb as fuck pancakes. Fluffy and moist.
