Because it's gross.
The actual bread part is good, but all the crap inside doesn't appeal to me. I would rather just make brioche.

I don't like panettone or pandoro or colomba at all.I think because of the height of the desserts, even a small piece is too much at a time for me.
I do like panforte. I'd guess it's because it's only about 3cm tall and I can cut a bite from it and be done with it but it's hard to come by where I currently live.
