I'm trying to find a chinese recipe but I don't know what the dish is called. I thought it was like chilli tofu or something but I'm not getting much.
Basically it is tofu fried so it is crispy on the outside, with garlic and chillies. There's no sauce, quite dry.
Sounds pretty simple. Fry cubes of tofu in oil until they get crispy, add some garlic and chilis and probably some salt and pepper. Done.

Fried Tofu
1 block firm tofu, cubed
1/4 cup white flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons canola oil
Place the tofu in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour. Toss gently to coat.
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet and add tofu. Fry 10 minutes, stirring often, until golden brown and crispy.
