Potato has rotten from inside. If I cut the rotten part awat and eat the rest, will I shit myself to death tomorrow, or be fine?

Try it and report back. Can you not afford a replacement potato? Is it still under warranty? Can you take it back to the market for an exchange?
I don't know about eating it, but if you've got multiple potatoes you ought to check them out, as rotten potatoes produce toxic gas.

toss it out dude. potato is from the nightshade family (i.e. a poisonous plant). once potato displays rot, spouts or the fresh is green then the rest of it will have inedible amounts of poison in it. just toss it out.
Cut the rotten part, bake it in the oven. If more of it is rotten, it will show up as black after being cooked. If this is the case after cutting it open, throw it away. If not, yer gud.

I wouldn't. Potatoes are cheap as hell anyway and they last a good amount of time.
sometimes there is a airspace in the center of potatoes. that isn't rot.
