The South African Bunny Chow, or Curry Bunny, is a great hand food that gives you a new way to enjoy venison or any other ground meat. These are easy to make, keep well for days in the refrigerator, and are the hit of any party where served.

I thought South Africa had developed its own cuisine by now.

Why is everything made from prepackaged dry goods (aside from random game meat, because Africa)?

It's quite a mix in South Africa. There's heavy Dutch, English, and Indian influences as well as native tribal influences that vary by region. For as much as people will say that Las Vegas is dining paradise, South Africa makes Las Vegas look like a middle school cafeteria.

nobody says that

Since you haven't been to Las Vegas, here are some quick food facts for you.

What's most amazing his how densely concentrated the establishments are. Most everything is packed in a few miles of the strip and a few blocks of old downtown.

I've been to Las Vegas many, many times. While there is plenty of good food, none of it is all that inventive.

I live in Vegas and love this crazy dirty city a lot but I agree, you'll only find unique stuff in Spring Valley, insanely good Vietnamese joints there.

Real problem with Vegas is that all the good restaurants are just insanely expensive, but that's what happens when the Casinos just take Thomas Keller and Joel Robuchon and tell them to go nuts.

Then none of anything is ever really inventive. Unless you suffer from pica, there are few new edible thing being discovered. There are plenty of regional specialties around the world, and sure you can travel to all those regions look for the food. Then there's LV, a place that seems to attract those specialties. It's a city that offers an incredible variety of foods all with in a few square miles.

You always were the black sheep of the Anglo world.

That is an awful curry mince recipe. A proper curry mince vetkoek is great though, breakfast of champions.

Also a proper Bunny Chow is pic related. Curry served inside a hollowed out half loaf of bread.

Well any major city should offer a variety. Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York City. Can never get bored culinarily living in such places.
>>

LA, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and even the fucking Twin Cities have great food scenes that are better than Vegas. Vegas is not impressive by American standards.

This is the truth.

Fuck, I'll say that Houston has better food than Las Vegas. Best American food city by far though is NOLA.
>>
>>7144207
>San Fagcisco
So fucking overhyped. When I go there I'd rather just eat the fresh fish which is amazing but the other restaurants either cost a fortune or are just not that great.
>>

i know right

>NOLA
This I agree with, New Orleans is just amazing. I don't think there any other city that has such a crazy clash of culture.

Where else could French, Spanish, and African tastes merge?

Um, west Africa.
