Regardless, 100 mg is the "standard dose", but most people usually do more than that if they have any kind of tolerance.
Wait at least 45 minutes before expecting it to fully kick in (it largely depends on what you've already had to eat, and can obviously take longer).

The only downside to edibles is the wait other than that edibles > smoking
Can get you high for hours sometimes into next day depending on dosage
Plus you dont waste thc through the inability of the lungs to absorb it with 100% efficiency.

A gram of BHO has way more than 100mgs THC. A gram of medical cannabis has 150-200mgs on average, BHO should be around 650-850mgs per gram of oil/shatter/wax depending on quality.
That's why I never trust idiots from shady dispensaries and make my own edibles because most of them either lie about dose/potency/whatever or the thc % is exaggerated by the company that makes the product.
