Put your mind at ease. That pic was fake and gay. I've experimented with cooking with blood, and can assure you that when you do, it doesn't turn things pink. It turns more of a brown, think the color of cooked hamburger. If you think about how blood stains in fabric are also this color, it makes sense.

Also, if you haven't got a great baking tray, use grease proof/parchment paper or aluminum foil and grease it before putting cookies on top.
