Why is the toaster oven a god-tier piece of equipment?
It's so versatile!

Mine is strictly a bottom

fuck this meme appliance
want to heat shit up? use a microwave
want to bake some stuff? use an oven

>want to bake some stuff? use an oven
An oven wastes far too much energy if you're just cooking for one person or a couple.
As a bachelor who sucks at cooking / hates cooking, if it wasn't for microwaves and toaster ovens, I'd eat out every day.
>>7092869
>wastes energy
Are you some kind of hippy wacko environmentalist?
I use mine several times a week. Heats up faster than a traditional oven, and doesn't heat up my house. Why would one person want to pre heat the whole damn oven to reheat 2 pieces of pizza?.......and microwave pizza ........LOL. Id rather eat it cold.
my first oven :3

You should still be cooking like you would for a family because now you have leftovers and have to cook less
>>7092897
Are you some kind of person who doesn't pay for utilities?
>>7092916
>leftover fried food
Yum.
>>7092921
You fry things in a toaster over and microwave?
>>7092917
Oh no, I had to fork over an extra 18 dollars this year. Now little Johnny won't get his medicine!
>Why is the toaster oven a god-tier piece of equipment?
It's a dumbed-down appliance (oven) with knobs that anyone can use.
>>7093101
You can use my knob
Toaster ovens are for office breakrooms. If you have one at home, you don't know how to cook.
>>7092923
Look at the picture you replied to. There's tater tots and what appears to be fish sticks there. You really want to microwave that tomorrow?
>>7092168
>choking down soggy microwave re-warmed pizza/bagels/croissants
>wasting shitton of electricity baking single serve pizzas, bacon, hashbrowns, small trays of baked goods
>having to wait 30-40 minutes for your oven to get up to heat while I've already finished baking 2 dozen cookies in my toaster convection oven
>>7093347
>wasting shitton of electricity
In other words, about 15-20 cents worth.
>>7093369
plus an hour of your life waiting for your range to get up to heat. oh wait, your time is worthless! i forgot Anon
>>7092925
Toaster ovens use less than half the energy of a full-size oven and that's not even accounting for the fact that they come to temp faster. If you bake/roast/reheat somewhat frequently this can easily be over $100/yr in savings
TFW inhaled countless amounts of toxic plastic shit as a child making these things.
>>7093369
Can you do basic arithmetic? Ovens use several thousand kwh of energy so even if you account for the average price of energy per kwh (12 cents) this will cost you multiple dollars per hour.
>>7093393
I was always tempted to eat these until I smelled one. Jesus
>>7093402
I always thought they smelled really nice; perhaps this is why I'm an aspiring transexual.
>>7092168
durrrrrrrrr
>>7092085
The toaster oven and the microwave are two things I got rid of a long time ago and never missed.

>>7093440
Still have a car. Don't have a TV because I have a computer, and can stream whatever I want to watch.
>>7093123
I like cooking but I hate the clean up

Where can I buy one of these miracle appliances?
