Enough about memefoods. Let's talk about MREs, survival food, and other long shelf life stuff /ck/.
What's the worst MRE you've eaten?
Do you have emergency food stored in your pantry for in case shit hits the fan?
Any recommendations?

MREs are field rations. They aren't very good long term survival food. Mountain House lasts much longer and actually tastes good. After a decade in combat arms, I'd be delighted if I never saw another shitty MRE again.

Should I dump the 17 MRE screencaps I have?

While you're not going to encounter a ton of preppers around these parts, most cooks do keep a fairly well stocked pantry, just because that makes cooking meals on the fly much much easier. Things like rice, dried beans and pasta are all pantry essentials that you can buy in bulk and store. Personally I can usually go a month on my pantry and freezer pretty comfortably, with milk being the only thing I pretty much have to go to the store for.
Whatever you keep, make sure you rotate it. While you can in many cases keep things for damn near forever, it's a good habit to eat through and replace your pantry at least once a year. Keeps shit fresh. Also, certain things you wouldn't expect, like brown rice for instance, actually go bad much quicker than you'd expect.
And no, you don't really need to dump MRE images though you certainly can if you really want to. MRE threads are actually rather common around here.

I'd really like to know what causes those momentary connection error issues.

>willingly join the military
If anything deserves to be called a meme you just posted it.
You can stop spamming caps completely unrelated to the board, which nobody is going to bother reading.
