Let's turn this blah thread into something interesting. I'll list some different male jfashion styles and we can discuss them, give tips, etc.
Gyaruo

There are so many different types of visual kei but I'll list the few popular ones.
Oshare Kei
>super happy, fabric clashy, bright neon colors
>think of how a kid would dress themselves in the 90s and that's basically this style
>lots of layering and accessories
>pop punk and scene influences kind of
Angura Kei
>grotesque horror vibes
>pretty 'regular goth'. pvc, chains, goth hairstyles and makeup
>white face makeup / skin is common
>pretty theatrical so elaborate costumes can be a thing too
Japanese Punk
>similar to traditional punk, tight fitted pants and plaid, lots of layering
>torn up clothes, black, sometimes animal prints, metal studs and chains
>you choose baggy or tight fitted but not both
>thick chunky boots and face masks are pretty norm
Mode Kei
>mode = all those bigass fashion designers
>Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Dior Homme
>very boldly worn, high fashion look but worn in a casual, stylish way
>you better know fashion if you want to wear this
Mori Boy
>male version of mori girl
>supposed to look like a guy living in a European forest
>lots of layering, natural materials like cotton and wool, suede and natural leather boots
>can use 'normal' clothes but make sure the rustic stuff is layered overtop of it
>neutral colours only, unless wearing all black
Street Kei
>inspired by urban american styles and their trends
>pretty casual but chains are cool
Rockabilly

>basically 1950s biker bro guy
>jean jackets, tanks, leather, pompadours
>prep those dance moves boy

I'm not an angura kei expert, I just posted from memory. I figured I would go for a more wearable example rather than something extreme like your pic. Angura kei does have huge variety though and not all is white face guro.
