In regards to fatties, which I am, I don't think that's a huge push for replicas. I'm a us size 12/14 and have no problem fitting into brand that has shirring, which most dresses do nowadays [and it's easy to put into a dress if you're a seamstress], and I know that gull shirring dresses can fit at least a size 18/20. So the fatties buying replicas are morbidly obese, and even at that point it's hard to build a decent looking replica at those measurements.
